What makes a team a rival?

Is it amount of times played? Historic games? Regional proximity? LSU has no true rivals, but are also very clear A&M is not a rival at all. On this website boy there is a lot of hate for them in their hearts…almost more than any other team…seems like a rival.

LSU has played Texas A&M more times than LSU has played Auburn in spite of the fact that Texas A&M has only been in the SEC since 2012. You are dumb.

No, we are just really annoyed with little cousin poking us at the family function saying, "bUt I'M nOT TouChInG yOu!" Then we smack then and then the parents say oh how could you do that??
