Saban requested to be interviewed by LSU, he was not asked. He looked up NFL players and saw that most were from Louisiana per capita.

One thing I love about Pelini is his temper, his fire. Like Saban, Muschamp.

Negative. FLA could have scored 30 on us if they wanted to.

1. they wanted to.
2. score at half 3-3.
3. Scores in second half
a TD by offensive holding and pulling uni of defender
a field goal after the fumble, which was not called correctly.
Final score at regulation 3-3 without the two errors by referees.
And you can bet they were trying to score 30.

really? i guess it's tougher to coach college football than pro?
signed,
nick saban, steve s., butch davis, pete carol.
geeze, you have to be kidding.
you want college. dennis erickson, bobby bowden, tom osborn, john robinson, frank beamer, kirk ferentz, mack brown, how about BEAR BRYANT.
You really think college football success is confined to only coaches who yell and scream on the sideline? g.m.a.f.b.

The difference is not the personality type. The Woodens of the world KNOW all the details. They also are very disciplined and do not put up with any BS from their players. They know how to game plan
Miles lacks on the details, planning and game management. He is also runs a more loose "players" environment. And that comment comes from 2 of his former players.

No guarantee that a "Top Coach" would be better than Myles. Plenty of "Top Coaches" haven't been able to break even during their tenures.

Therein lies the dilemma we currently face. Obviously, everyone would rather have a great team year-in year-out rather than merely a good/decent team year-in year-out.
But, would you give up the slam dunk good/decent team (with upside potential) if the risk is potentially ending up worse off than before?
All that said, I believe we have many (if not all of) the pieces in place to have great teams in 2010 and 2011 which makes the current conversation irrelevant, but it certainly could become very relevant depending upon how the next two years play out. We shall see...

LSU has 3 guarantees with ULM, Vandy, McNeese
3-9 is not out of the question. We are a bad FB team right now and everybody is gunning for us..
