Based on our spring game and other offseason reports, I think our defense will be much better against passing teams than power running teams. Florida going to be more of a speed rush team w demps or a passing team. If we are a good team, we should better against a florida type offense than a team like bama. They are a punch you in the mouth beat up your d type offense. With our undersized d, we are going to have a tough time.

Florida in the Swamp
Auburn in the Barnyard, as always history tells us this game will be a close game because when one team is better than the other the other usually wins.

Florida. That place is a bitch to play at for the visiting team. The noise is really loud and it is blazing hot no matter what time the game is played.

I sure hope Uf's QB is over rated.

Several people got it absolutely correct and shipshoal and mattsnola nailed the coachspeak. And he's right on the money and will be right the rest of the season. We can't take anyone for granted...well maybe mcneese

Not drinking the Gator kool-aid for several reasons. They are breaking in a first-year starter at QB whose a pure pocket passer. Yet they lost their top two receivers from last year, and none of their WR/TE's scare anyone.

Also, they are breaking in a new DC, so the defense will have a totally new scheme to absorb. Add in the fact they proved vulnerable to the run last year.

If LSU would have had any kind of running game last year, we would have beaten the Gators.

I like our chances in the Swamp this year.

Even as an a diagnosed positiger, I find that absurd. They were running 1/2 throttle with Tebow fuzzy. The UF O you saw was direct response to LSU's O not being able to solve UF's D.

Florida hands down, its on the road and we haven't really come close the last 2 years. bama, at home we should win. the last 3 games with bama have been decided late in 4th qtr. could have won all with good qb play (flynn threw 3 ints, jl threw a pick 6 and int. in ot, jj got injured when we had lead). we just need good qb play, we will be mentally prepared.
