You can almost write the next chapter of this thing now.
Somebody is going to stick a microphone in Joe Burrow’s face after practice and ask him about the Jayden Daniels situation.
Burrow will give the most reasonable answer imaginable. Something along the lines of Jayden did a lot for LSU, won a Heisman, had an incredible career there, and people shouldn’t forget what he accomplished.
Within 5 minutes somebody will clip 10 seconds of it. ESPN will debate whether Burrow is “sending a message” to LSU. Twitter will decide Joe has taken Jayden’s side. And by dinner we’ll have LSU fans arguing about Joe Burrow too.
We’re about one well-intentioned Joe Burrow quote away from the media figuring out how to turn two LSU Heisman Trophy winners into a civil war with the LSU fan base.

Well if RC was still with ESPN he’d turn it into a you know what topic, maybe JD is just selfish and lets his mom run his life. Turns out Aiyuk was right all along…

While I do think that is a possibility, I think its entirely more likely he has no idea whats happening and says something to the effect of that doesn't have anything to do with him and he supports Jayden and LSU.
