hell, i have my concerns with about moffit with current LSU players

im tired of seeing players get too big and lose any explosiveness they once had

it's either that or we're not nearly as talented as we celebrate LSU to be

Bowe weren't slower when they came out,

i doubt bowe was much faster when he left LSU compared to when he arrived

but it doesnt matter for him because of the natural ability he has to use his body to get open, and the extra beef he put on

Out of those guys, only James, Dorsey, and Spears even belong in the NFL in the first place.

Moffitt = best football assistant at LSU and prolly best Strength/Conditioning coach in America!! IMO

its not just your opinion...its a fact! his programs are in place all over the country. He is very well respected in the strength and conditioning community! not an opinion a fact!

The combine comment is assanine the players the go to the combine dont work out with coach Moffit; they go off to work out for the combine

3-5 years with moffit > 3-4 weeks of training before the combine

quote:

Just look at what happened with Ali he went and worked out with out moffit before the combine then came and worked out with Moffit before the pro day and saw huge improvements.

he went from a 4.9 and a 5.0 (while injured to a 4.85 and 4.80 (while healthy)

So the guys that counter your argument have nothing to do with Moffit? It's all their natural ability?

You have to throw guys like SFP a bone every now and then. Football recruiting ended up #1, basketball will win the SEC and is in the top 20, and baseball has a new stadium and is ranked #2.

Guys like Slow and Death Valley have nothing to whine about and its driving them crazy !

Just humor them.

i think it has more to do with is these guys are local and people see and read abou them everyday as recruits and freshman and expect them to be all world. maybe they put their support behind them and tell thier buddies "so and so is going to be the best ever at LSU."
then that player turns out to be not as good as he or she thought they have to blame someone for it. can't be that the player was overhyped or had his own demons.

moffit has the reputaion for being one of the top Strength and Cond. coach for a reason. saban wanted him in alabama for a reason.

Moffit and his S&C program are highly overrated. LSU players haven't performed well at the combine the last couple of years. Not just 40 times either. NFL coaches commenting on the condition of LSU players speaks volumes. LSU players may be overrated talent coming in, but they are not overly impressive leaving either.

what are you talking about?

when was the last time that LSU had a great showing at the combine? we have the time laron ran a 4.35 (then shut it down b/c he was obviously shocked at the time) and that's about it

this thread is pretty much an annual rite
