so what he beats him out and plays the kid is better than people give him credit. piss poor play calling made him look bad but the coaches have fixed the problem and you will see the qb that came back in the auby and troy games.besides both qb's will play the way lsu has been doing it for years.

lol! yeh, right our offense is tailor made for a QB that can run, even a little. Matt Flynn did it too, and made several nice scrambles for us... Lee cannot do that man, he cant.

Then you obviously didn't watch the GT game.

No, his inability to read a defense is what made him look bad.

Bottom line if Lee out performs JJ in Spring and Fall practice then based on past experience Les will start Lee......at least I hope he will. Do I think this will be the case probably not unless Lee improves downfield vision, release quickness, and decision making. Is it impossible absolutely not.

I didn't want our fans to boo J Lee either but that didn't stop them. Would I lose respect for Lee if he flipped the fans off yes but I wouldn't blame him for giving some type of I told you so emotion.......but not flipping them off I don't condone this

They had every right to boo his pathetic performance. He gets a free education to play football, if he can't handle it then he can leave.

lee could improve but the fact is jefferson is the better qb and makes better decisions.

He probably won't. But considering his baggage, if they decide he's that much better than everyone else, I'd be OK with it. Right up till he threw the first pick six.
If it were me, I'd say HELLL NO and concentrate on JJ.

you watched the games where lee didn't look good but like i said before it was because of play calling. you watched jj play a couple of games with the same play calling and he also looked bad. you saw the play calls change and lee looked like a seasoned vet. and you watched the play calls when they were changed(gt game) and jj looked like a season vet. it looks like both qb's are quite capable of running the team next season.the way jj plays ball is as a duel threat.all and i mean all the running qb's get hurt eventually so they both better play and get more experience. usc and oregon's and wv qb's went down last year and they lost every game until the starter came back.. lsu lost it's starter last year and we never missed a beat because both played all year. so play them both next year.

After seeing how the team reacted late in the season after Lee threw pick 6 after pick 6, I think Miles would have to do one hell of a selling job to the team for them to buy into this. They see what goes on in practice, on film, and in the games. I would think that some would question the fairness of the decision especially after the way the season ended.

Thats fine go ahead and keep booing him then you have every right. Hell you know what when JJ throws a pick go ahead and boo him too. When Shep gets sacked or stopped in the backfield boo him too. That is obviously the way to go because it is your right. It helps a helluva lot too.

What if TC McCartney beats them all out!

FWIW IMO there is nothing that J. Lee can do to prove that he is a better QB at this time to start next year.
