Maybe our coaches dont put enough emphasis on tackling/wrapping up. Hes not the only one taking bad angles and whiffing on ball carriers.

IMO...If he has a solid senior year he will be a 1st round pick. This year he would probably go 3rd or 4th round. He didn't pass up a baseball contract to get 3rd or 4th round money. He'll stay and take his chances. And with some of the underclassmen that will go pro this year he COULD be the top defensive guy on the board next year.

Please explain what makes him a 1st round pick? He would have to become a totally different player with new skills. The guy isn't an NFL safety. I like him but he is way overated and people with any clue see that.

I think he would be a 2nd rd next year...depends...I think he is one of the most talented guys out there...6'3 235 S thats a legit 4.4....come'on...he's been lighting people up all year...I dont know if he would take on a o-lineman well but I would love to see him take over for Coleman next year and have the loston kid come in at FS...The Loston kid phenomenal...He's up there on the level of talent like Peterson...and he's just an agressive kid on the field...

we dont have to worry about the nfl...if he isnt back next year it is because he will be on the mound in the mlb..which i dont see likely at this point in time because he still has a crap load to learn in either postion

What if he said that... What if Chad Jones will leave the program? Or, he comes back with Chad Jones will leaves LSU? Would you spelling gurus come out and correct him even though he adds will, but you told him its leaves?

Our secondary is in trouble if Peterson leaves... Not Jones. I wish Eugene switch positions. Maybe he could burn other corners like all the receivers do to him
