I keep wondering what will happen to Coach O if he doesn't get the job. Is it gonna be like it was at USC and he be mad he didnt get it and leave or will he be open to staying on board with the new coach? This of course if he doesn't get the job himself. I really hope he sticks around on the new coach staff.

Catch 22 - doesn't get the job and gets mad and leaves or doesn't get the job and new coach asks him to leave.

When you make a coaching change--speaking of if we hire Herman, Fisher, or anyone else--you cannot count on anyone on the present staff remaining.

If Coach O doesn't get the permanent job--and I'd prefer Herman or Fisher ahead of him--I could not blame him for moving on and I'd certainly wish him well.

Depends on the dialogue between he and Alleva up to this point.

I could also see him staying. He would remain in his home state making $450k a year as a defensive line coach. In the big scheme of things that is pretty good money for doing a job you love.

He immediately resigned at USC though. I can see why he would not want to live in the L.A. area.
