Very uncharacteristic decision on his part. Some pressure in his face, but not sure what he thought he had.

Don't think that was the D end. It was a CB that initially showed man on the inside receiver then dropped back when he saw Joe looking over his head.

He was getting hit quite a lot last night. UM and Coach Dirty Luke wanted to take him out.

Wrong man caught the ball.

He was hit during the throwing motion. He said so in his interview. It was a strong hand to the helmet. Threw his accuracy off. Should have been a penalty.

Look at the tape of the game.

He proved he can't throw accurately while his head is being twisted sideways!

The DB just made a heckuva play. JB getting hit maybe was the reason for the INT, but give their CB credit. If hes not there, its another highlight for the Heisman show.

Not many college DBs are confident enough to leave their assignment in time to make that play. Joe getting hit helped his cause but give him the credit as well.
Joe made the right read on the guy covering JJ. JJ was just sitting there waiting on the ball while the guy covering him was lost. How Burrow knew that would happen is why hes so great. Hes the best in quite a few years.
The other DB in Joes vision is not supposed to give up his man at the exact right time and then turn into a WR running a go. Then leap, high pointing the ball and snatch it with his hands. Excellent awareness and ability from their guy.

Sometimes you tip your hat to an opposing player. This is one of those times.
Not a bad story to tell the grand kids.
