What are some things you believe JJ will do to improve the team next year?

Get over it, Berry is not coming back. We may not see him again in a LSU uniform.

Never was clear to me why he transfered from a CWS team to only play for one year at LSU.

He needs some of those top line pitchers and players to make it to campus next year a catcher and some middle infielders.

After looking at their rankings as pro prospects, I'd say he'll be lucky if a handful make it to campus. Money talks.

He respects the coach a lot. Along with having a chance to play at one of the more storied programs in baseball it makes sense. It’s not like it will affect his draft stock.

Good luck with Romero. He has high pick written all over him.

to host a super regional and Omaha would be a miracle for this team….
However if we had taken care of business and swept ole miss this weekend we would be tied for first going into the last weekend…..
Instead we played with NO LIFE all weekend…girls team could have beaten us……

Luckily we have a pretty scary class coming in. Only have to keep it somewhat in tact and we’ll be ok.

It will be interesting to see what the class is ranked after the MLB draft gets finished picking it apart. Like the above post stated, we'll be fortunate if a handful of the current commits make it on campus.

Have the #1 recruiting class in the country would be a good start

Need a player or players to step up and be a leader who will chew some arse when its needed! Somebody like Blair Barbier would be a great asset! Oh, yeah, and most everything mentioned above!

I’m not sure. He’s not very big, and apparently his range doesn’t project as a pro SS. He may slip out of the 1st round. And this is where NIL could really help baseball. If we could find the money to get close to what his signing bonus would be, 3 years at LSU would be a much more quality life than 3 years in the lower minors. And isn’t there data out that developing at an SEC type school gets you to the bugs quicker?
