If Les is looking out for JJ's best interest, he should urge JJ to red shirt and transfer to another school

We averaged over a yard more per carry last with Jefferson opposed to Lee because it requires the LBs to account for both guys. While no one was expecting Lee to take off between the tackles.

yes, our offense was dynamic last year. So dynamic in fact, Miles had to finally call lee into the game....lol...one would think averaging 5 yards a carry we could never be stopped right? lol......it still absolutely amazes me there are people actually wanting that garbage we had last year for offense.....even after seeing this unit average 40 points a game and win by an average of 25 points or so.....unreal the intelligence level of some people.

No problems on offense, but have been having trouble with short kickoffs.

this i absolutely agree with...it would give JJ a chance to play a year and maybe if he has improved like his jock sniffers think...a chance for post college football.........

Appears to be resolved with Hairston kicking.

What I can't figure out is why the 3 and outs are so dramatically reduced this year,

2% vs FBS competition is dramatical?

It is more explosive this year due to scheme and play action pass, smart guy.
No longer does the OC throw shite at the wall and hope some sticks.
And I didn't say anything about JJ being better. My QB is better than your QB is your agenda.
I just rebuke stupid misinformed rants.

Relax. I'm talking about a specific situation. I don't disagree that this year's offense is incredibly more efficient than last years.

No body was more happy to see that offense go than I was, I assure you.

From a fans POV, I would like to see some of the conservative nature of the offense fade away. Particularly in the RZ. Did like the play action in the WVU game but the primary diet of plays there seems to be the run right up the middle.

you lie...the three and outs are down almost 30% from last year.....and that is HUGE to all aspects of a good football team.

fixed it for you

My agenda is having the best offense on the field, and this offense is light years ahead of last year's offense, and I don't give a shite who is qbing it...as long as we achieve the success we have had. It would be idiotic, at best, to change something that is working so well right now. Especially, if that something was the shite we had last year. Seriously, do you not remember the blank/deer in headlight look of JJ. I'm glad he is back. I hope he does not stir up drama behind the scenes. He just doesn't strike me as the type to sit quietly though.

You rebuke nothing. You have lied about stats, and frankly, you are laughed at for believing last year's offense was even close to this years offense.

Agreed, but I was pleasantly surprised with the roll out play call. I'm not a "secret playbook" guy, but I have to believe Krags has more options than he has shown.

You must be another fan who thinks all offensive success and failure starts and ends with QBs.

Yeah, basically showing the hand they have to. Not taking risks. I just want, for selfish desires of course, to see some "going for the throat" kick arse aggressive nature down there.

nope...not all...but it is a huge part of it. A good qb will keep a team in a game...look no farther than the colts this year....same everything else...different qb....We have the potential to pass vertically this year...not just potential, but are doing it....and that is a huge step up, and a must to win a conference championship.

No doubt.

Another play we hadn't seen until last week, the shuttle/screen play to D Pete. Wasn't successful, but a different look.

Do you recall if we have run the middle WR screen (jailbreak, slip, whatever it is called)? I'm thinking maybe once, but can't recall.

Mayhaw is one of those who believe that if Les thought JJ should start, then by God JJ is better no matter what evidence you show to the contrary. He has to put down one to raise another.

I am happy with the current offense, and outside of my own preference for blood lust I wouldn't change anything.
