Historically they are the sorest losers out of all the teams LSU faces every year. They'll shove the players once they are out of bounds and after they score a touchdown hoping to make them slip and injure themselves. They are going to get destroyed this year, so be looking out for lots of that.

Plumlee is a damn good runner. Deceptive speed and he will gash us a few times. But, ultimately they won't be able to keep up with our scoring machine. But they aren't going to roll over.
I am worried we walk in with a hangover and the team thinks we have reached the mountain top by beating Bama and think they can cruise through this game. I don't think CEO will let that happen.

Plumlee is a run first qb.
They have some very young receivers. They can make plays.
In all honesty I would stack the box and force Plumlee to throw the ball. If you give up some fluke plays so be it. I trust our DBs against their freshman receivers.
The last thing you want is Ole miss holding the ball running it effectively keeping our offense off the field.
Should be same game plan as Shrader (Miss State).

They run the ball well (over 5 yards per carry) and they can, occasionally, throw the deep ball. They rely on their running QB, Plumlee and senior RB Phillips to carry the ball and they account for over half of Ole Miss' rushing yards. They also run a freshman, Ealy quite a bit.
They've played 2 freshman QBs this year, not sure why, but Corral is the better passer and Plumlee is the better runner. From a receiving standpoint, the team leans heavily on Elijah Moore, a sophomore out of Fort Lauderdale - good ball skills, but a little small. They have a couple of other receivers and they throw to the TEs occasionally, but no one other than Moore has more than 10 or 11 catches on the year. Moore has 4 of their 9 receiving TDs and he's the only one averaging more than 20 yards receiving per game.
Because they are not a great passing team, they are not that good on 3rd down. They don't protect the football particularly well (4 INTs versus 9 TD passes, 14 fumbles, losing 7 of them).
They are scoring 26+ points per game, but keep in mind that is primarily bolstered by a 40 and 41 points on Southeastern and New Mexico State. They did score 31 on Alabama, but gave up 59.
If we're clicking for 4 quarters, this should be a 52 - 24 type game with the outcome decided midway through the 3rd quarter.
Very nice
Thank you!!!!

They're going to throw the kitchen sink at LSU. We will have to make them submit.

If you can't pass against LSU...you're probably screwed. We'll sell out to stop the run until you give us a reason not to.
Aranda is going to have a field day unless they can threaten us in the passing game.

Luke will have them fired up to shock the world. As long as the hangover is nonexistent or it doesn't linger long, we should win big on the road.
Remember that Luke was the starting center for OM in '97 when he planted their flag midfield at Tiger Stadium a week after we beat UF. This game means everything to them. They have had a couple games snatched from them on some late questionable calls.
No let downs and laser focus the rest of the way and we will be playing in Atlanta twice and NOLA. Pretty crazy to think about.

Mostly they bring a willingness to be the next sacrificial lamb to the LSU gods.
They have the worst pass defense in the SEC and are ranked 111th in the country in passing yards allowed. That pretty much tells you how this weekend is going to go.

I think they look more like Georgia Southern on offense, just with better players.
They throw only as a necessity.
If the defense gets consistent run stuffs on first and second down, force them to throw, we should cruise to a 50+ to maybe 24 (with a garbage score late) kind of day.
If we start slow, it could be dramatic, but I think we still win. I'm more worried about aTm because most of this team played in that monstrosity last year - of course they are going to want revenge as well.
Ole Miss is the trap game because they are playing much better than Arkansas is at this point and we may be looking further down the road than we should.
Leadership on this team is the focus - there will be "a want" to destroy Ole Miss and I think we do that.

I think they've got themselves one of them running quarterbacks.
Which always presents problems.
Well I called that one.
Win and move on.
