What does LSU add to Baton Rouge's coffers ?

Lots and lots of money. Look at the local hotel industry alone.

A study done by an LSU economist a few years ago showed LSU football games pump over $1 million each weekend into the local economy. I'm guessing it's more than that now with our recent success.
ETA: It's was over $4 million a weekend back in 1997. $109 million for all sports in 1997. LINK

Just in sales tax? I'd guess a couple million a year.
