It’s basically a complete game plan when all 3 phases of the game work together to win the game.

To me it means the offense not going 3 and out and converting 3rd downs to keep drives going so defense can rest and also taking advantage of TOs with scores when defense gives offense good field position after a turnover, that what complimentary football means in my opinion
