I remember when we played App State a few years ago and the team was pretty good and they will probably be very good this year.
I subscribe to the theory that any team can win on any given day and it happens all the time. The problem is that teams like App State usually play one big time opponent and all they have to do is get ready for that one team. That doesn't make for a great team, it makes for a great performance. What makes for a great team is when a team is tested week in and week out and is still a great team throughout the year.
Now that I answered your question, maybe you can answer mine: Why do you feel so belittled that you have to come to this message board and flame fans of a school you will be playing in a month or so? I agree with the post above, keep it classy and you will find that most on this board will talk football all day long.

I tried to keep the topic civil.
We are GREAT in our Little league !!
12-0 in last 3 years in playoffs, offense that averaged 40+ points a game. And we surprised one of the BIG schools up north.
We can't play the best every week,yet. And even when we do move up it won't be the SEC.
I am not trying to piss people off.
If when APP plays a true d2 team, they score 21 points and slow us down to under our 40+ average, i think they would deserve some RESPECT.
Hell, i respect them for playing us and trying to win.

No it's pretty on topic.
You were giving us some useless D2 facts against some no name teams like Georgia Southern, Wofford, and Furman. I never said anything about the UM or LSU game.

If ASU wants respect, beat LSU. Actually, you are never going to get respect from most LSU rantards because even if that .0000001% chance of you winning comes true, people will blame the refs for bad calls, a new QB's first start, and so on...

The problem is you have been coming on here saying your team is so good................but I don't expect us to beat LSU! You sound like Tulane fans, always running your mouth, but then leaving yourself an out saying "We don't expect to win". Then why do you play the game?
Will you please answer, "What perfomance would make you happy"?
I fully expect a competitive game from you guys in the first half, not that we are worried about you, but we have a number of questions. Much like you guys caught Michigan last year with a number of questions, they also took you lightly. I don't expect that we will take you lightly, but I don't expect to be holding my breath late in the third quarter. You guys scored zero points last time you were here, and I don't expect too much more from you this time.
So, to answer your question directly: Beat us and earn the respect!
