They send them to Africa. I was in Tanzania in Summer of 2008. Some guy was wearing an Oklahoma Sooners 2003 National Championship shirt.

after BCS national championship game a couple of the t-shirt shops on canal street were selling OSU nat'l championship shirts. I picked up some up for 3 for 10.

All the officially licensed shirts have to be sent back to the company that made them to be destroyed. When I worked the LSU Notre Dame Sugar Bowl a few years back they sent the champions shirts for both teams the week of. If I remember correctly they have strict fines for not returning the exact amount of the losing teams merch that was shipped. As for the vendors in the street selling the losing teams shirts for cheap... That's all fake unlicensed shite.
