Jefferson 13 passes 5 completions for 30 yards averaging 2.3 yards and 1td of three hours of game. 6 rushes for -5 yards.

And no, we weren't running the wildcat offense..

Wasn't worried about losing, but that is the worst half of offense I have ever seen from an LSU team

Pretty godawful.
I would have benched the lot of them if I could.

Good predictions.
Pretty spot on.

I bet our final score was a pleasant surprise, huh?

I have always thought that we needed to use both our QBs this year, but I think this game has cleared up why I still wish JL was the starter. When JL starts and plays badly he will get yanked for JJ pretty quickly (before a half is over). But when JJ has a bad game... he just stays. It seems like Les doesn't want to put JL in until JJ has built a lead, but that never happens if JJ doesn't build a lead. I'm sorry, but after the first 5 straight 3 and outs, we should have given JL a shot. You could always put JJ back in for the 3rd. It just doesn't make sense...

Kind of. The defense beat Murray to a pulp, picked up a few turnovers.

We couldn't get near him in the first quarter except for a borderline late hit by Montgomery. But starting in the 2nd quarter, We were in Murray's face almost every play. That was HUGE in this game.

This isn't my opinion, but I'll venture a guess.
Perhaps, Miles feels that JL has a higher chance of turning over the ball than JJ.
That would be worse than a 3 and out.
That's just a guess.

They were playing that shitty containment stuff that LSU used vs WVU, and the D backs looked like they were still in BR. LSU adjusted and started hitting Murray in the second quarter.

Maybe, but today would kind of throw a wrench in that argument when JJ had potential INT after potential INT early in the game.

People had a very legitimate reason to wonder why Lee didn't get a series in the second qtr. Not all are complaining, just wondering.

Yeah, Danielson mentioned that was what we were doing. Especially on one of the 1st quarter third downs where we rushed 3 and they hit about a 25 yd pass.

You could really see how the pressure affected Murray later in the game. He was clearly rattled and that was when I knew we just needed to start taking over.

That's why I'm throwing out reasonable explanations.
It's a little too easy to say "Miles absolutely loves JJ."

Yes, it's gotten to the point where pretty much everyone is curious why Lee hasn't played.
It never looks like Lee even expects to play.

I am pretty confident there's stuff we don't know.
The most important thing is that all this hasn't affected our record.

It was frustrating (NOT COMPLAINING!!!) but knew the Chief would adjust. Murray had too much time early to sit back and pick out his receivers.

I believe our coaches overrated the Georgia offensive line. All week we heard how big their line was and how they will hold their own against LSU D-line. I feel the coaches might have felt the same way and decided to try and defend the passing game instead of forcing pressure. Once we found out their line was overrated (imo) and we could pressure the qb. That opened the floodgates.

Let us all get real. I love JJ and JL, but they are average at best. This TEAMis great. Murray would have won today if he was LSU'S QB. Stop the QB crap. It is what we have. I love / hate them both. The team is what it is . Fricking awesome. Bring on ALA or OSU. Who cares, I do not, this TEAM is awesome.

People get curious when things are not working. Against Bama, the report was you could hit the Tide on the corners and gain yardage, but LSU failed to use Ford in this respect for much of the game. When they did, it was effective. If something isn't working, we get frustrated and want to do something different. Just the way people are.

LSU wins a championship and in couple of years the names JJ and Lee will rarely come up. All they will remember is the championship. Not the drama.

JJ can not throw the ball. He is not a good passer and he can't throw to his second or third checks. I am so hoping for a real QB one day.

If you mean a non Crowtonized QB, LSU has several on the roster.
