You still have to look at them breaking curfew

Agreed this is a problem, but

1 or 2 game suspension will more than likely come

that is overkill.

That will be handled in house with lots and lots of running I would imagine.

I played college baseball and when some one or some group got caught breaking curfew, they would have to stand and watch the rest of the innocent players on the team run for their decisions. It was VERY effective at getting a problem player to straighten up, but it was not good for morale.

It has a nice ring to it, although new rumors suggest that Johns was only involved in breaking things up.

Well, if it was completely up to the unity council, there would be no suspensions at all.

quote:

As a member of the Unity Council, Taylor said the group proposed community service as a punishment for the entire team to partake in this fall. The safety said the coaching staff has accepted this punishment.

Fellow Unity Council member Morris Claiborne added that the group did not propose suspensions as a penalty, but they did create a list of rules that the team must follow.

We'll see what Les decides...

I think Miles asked the Unity Council to address the punishment for the entire team. I cannot fathom that he has also given them the task of punishing individual players. That is not something that a teammate should have to do IMO.

Huh?

A good lawyer can get you out of alot of messes, but it does not mean that you should not be punished. Miles and LSU football do not have the same standards as the American legal system, nor should they.

shite, Strauss-Kahn resigned from his position and he will not even be charged any longer. He resigned to spare the integrity of the institution for which he served. While I do not think that the players involved are going to remove themselves from the team voluntarily, Miles may and probably should suspend them until this mess is cleared up. Innocent or not, this distraction is unnecessary and is their fault.
