LSU suffered defensively all season - even when Wade was coaching. When the Tigers went up against good defensive teams, that shut down their strength, and they struggled.
It was just a matter of time before LSU ran into a team that could shut them down and play their offense for the win.

Great talent beats well coached teams with average talent. Great talent loses to great good talent with great coaching. That is what happened to LSU. It was inevitable

Hard to say what's better. I think I'd rather lose like this than have had them blow a 15 point lead and lose.
