I think the fanbase meltdown probably scares recruits more.

I think you put too much stock into Tigerdroppings.com, and not enough on what they see what their eyes and hear people saying in the media as well.

Then tell that to one of our instate basketball recruits ricardo gathers. Dude tweeted that LSU fans are sore losers and that they lost as a team and to quit calling out Jefferson. Stated that he wouldnt want to play qb at LSU. I know hes a BBall recruit but dont think our football recruits dont think the same thing

ETA also Diarse was talking about what people had to say on him playing safety on TigerDroppings...recruits read this site and our "fanbase" is hurting our program

So, you're in favor of the ghestapo? Maybe a little book burning too?

Seriously, how are you going to stop people from talking, even in the media?

EVERYBODY in the country saw what we all saw and were dumbfounded by it. That's the point. It's one thing to lay unfounded blame on a coaching staff for this or that, and quite another to simply say the same thing everyone is saying. Fact is, LSU losing isn't the issue. People can take losing to Bama in the NC Game. I SURE CAN. What I can't take is the manner in which the coaching staff did NOTHING to make adjustments or play Lee to see if they could spark life into the offense. The train wrech embarassment was in New Orleans on national telivision with a captive CFB audience, not on Tigerdroppings.com.

Asking people to simmer down a little doesn't make him a book burning fascist. You're the most ridiculous person on here.

Im not in favor of full censorship but some stuff about JJ has gotten a little far over the line and recruits see that. Go after the coaches they can defend themselves to the media and to the recruits. However to go after an amateur athlete that you pay money to see as far as some people went was stepping over the line and recruits can see that. They are saying it straight up.

Apparently not quite as ridiculous as the person expecting LSU fans NOT to be pissed off a mere week after the game, and ranting ON THE RANT mind you about what they and the rest of the country witnessed on the field.

I don't blame JJ. He's a young man doing his best. I blame the coaches, but especially Les Miles for screwing this thing to hell and back. Man gets paid extremely well to take that abuse, and as the saying goes, to much is given much is required.

Speaking of basketball recruits, I thought some of you might find this interesting. Remember Butch Pierre (former LSU asst. coach under Brady)? He was in town recently at a H.S. game and there's an interview on a local blog.We sure could use his recruiting HERE!
