I agree....this game is gonna have really high ratings!

This game will be highly rated.
I don't think there are enough TV's in La and Bama to make this happen. Did you see the poll?
I guess it is the appeal of seeing a rematch or LSU playing a team that didn't win anything other than the Iron bowl.
ESPN is pimping this game so hard it is unreal. Damn near 24-7 coverage. They know rating butthurt is coming.

You didn't buy into that, did you?
If I wasn't an LSU alum I wouldn't watch at all. I didn't watch the Miami vs Nebraska game in 2001 (2002) cause I knew Nebraska playing was a fraud. Awesome decision. Nebraska was waxed.
The country knows this game is BS and they will make this known. Look at how hard the media is pumping sunshine in this game. The slant is all that Bama should have won to drive interest.

I hope it's the lowest rated BCSCG in history. Screw ESPN/ABC and their cheap money grab. No way we should have to beat Alabama twice. I didn't know it was double elimination (for Bama).
That's what they've presented on the platter. A big turd sandwich. Leftover turd sandwich at that. And America sees it.
This. I hope for a ratings backlash. The rest of the country is right for being ambivalent.

I'm just not very excited about the western half of the united states.

you are just now figuring this out ?
For the most part, it is a "one" conference interest + die hards + news media.

I don't care who's not excited! It's all about the crystal baby!!!!

I'm not very excited about PAC 2 or Mountain West or WAC football either.

I don't get all the conspiracy theorists. I doubt ESPN is "very excited" about this game either. Obviously they're trying to pump as much controversy into the game as possible but anyone would do that. They have a product they're selling, of course they're trying to cover its flaws.
Oh, and yes, the Western half of the US is highly irrelevant when it comes to football.

Really? Just wait until they start pumping up USC at the end of this game.
BTW: There will be backlash over and SEC#3 vs SEC#1 for the NC. If you don't think so, you are kidding yourselves.
ESPN just took the BCS down a very slippery slope.
Just wait until a future season when they decide that the SEC's one loss teams aren't worthy, and they put a Pac12#3 vs Pac12#1. Will you watch that game? I wouldn't.
