Vanderbilt and every great program is built on great pitching the coach with the best pitching credentials in the business is Minnesota Twins pitching coach Wes Johnson. My kids played for him in High School and he is the most genuine and likable person you’ll meet. The parents and kids will love him, he will rock recruiting, fan base, donor base he is a super star waiting for the chance. I don’t know if he would leave MLB or not but if I were Woody I would sure find out.

Derek Johnson, the Reds' pitching coach, who was with Corbin at Vanda abd turned out SIX first round picks on 10 years including Sonny Gray and David Price, would be the guy I'd hire if I was going the MLB route.
