O has been talking about Small at LBer, but I just dont think he beats out baskerville or jones.

Good for him if he did and I'll root for him even more, but I just cant see both those guys staying if they got beat by a former walk on.

When does the official depth chart come out? Shouldn’t it be out already?

Who cares if he was a walkon? Justin Jefferson was a two star. Once they are here, none of that matters. I hope Small balls out and is another Sam Mills - who was equally disrespected at this point in his career.

I don't either, but he himself has stated he has to learn the system (and the new position he transferred here to play that he wasn't going to get the chance to play at Clemson)

I'm not saying he'll never take the spot, but he's not ready at this juncture (honestly, his own words)

Small hasn’t beat out Baskerville. Damone and Baskerville will be your two starting Linebackers for the UCLA game. Ed said linebackers will rotate to keep them fresh. Also Mike Jones is still learning to play Mike linebacker but he’s coming along.

As far as him playing it doesnt matter.

When it comes to recruiting and having all these analysts. How did they miss on all the 4 star prospects at the lber position that a 5'11 200lb walk on takes their spots? These arent first year freshman linebackers either, former starters that have plenty of experience.

2 stars is significantly better than no stars.

For all your scholarship players this would be true. But the walkon age has been over at top 10 schools for a long time.

I hope so to. I hope its like we just won the powerball and this dude wins a heisman.

Week of Game 1 I would have thought. Roster with weights doesn't appear to be updated since it still has Turner at 284 lbs and Bradford at 365.

That’s terrifying and really makes me think Orgeron has no idea how to actually use Mike Jones effectively

LBs are suspect as hell. We need multiple guys to step up.

Not gonna lie the idea of Clark starting scares the hell out of me after the way he played last year. He will be under the magnifying glass tommorrow hope he proves a lot of us wrong.

The guy has spent his entire career playing OLB/Nickel hybrid and wanted to move inside. He wasn’t going to get that opportunity at Clemson, so he left. I’m pretty sure him playing ILB was a prerequisite for him looking at LSU. This has been discussed a good bit here.
