1. 18 returning starters. That means these players are a year older and better, while the teams we play lose more starters.

2. Replace a terrible DC with one of the best in college football.

3. Better schedule. Instead of at Bama and at Ole Miss we have at Florida and at Arkansas with these two teams not near the level of the ones last year.

4. Cam on the sideline. They are going to open up the offense

5. Harris being a year older, stronger, bigger and better. If he improves at any level close to how Mett did then he will have a great year. (His soph year was better than Metts Junior year...look it up)

6. Talent level. Only Bama and FSU have more talent according to 247 composite of the last 4 classes. We have more experience than both and play Bama at home.

7. Vegas has us favored in every game. They see something

Son, are you ignorant?

Harris was a starter as a Sophomore and Mett was not.

Harris' SOPHOMORE stats are very much on par with Mett's JUNIOR stats..

Harris had more TDs a soph than Mett as a Junior and that was with 1 less cupcake game..

Mett had slightly better accuracy percentage but he was a freaking Junior.

Yup.

Harris first year starting as a true Soph
53.7% 13 TDs 6 INTs and 1 less game vs inferior team

Mett first year starting who had more experience as a college QB at the time and was a Junior..
58.8% 12 TDs 7 INTs

Both quarterbacks had receivers not exactly carry their weight first year starting.. and I expect the receivers to also step up like they did the following season. Craig IMO is a huge addition to this team.

I can see a very similar trajectory.

To this person who doubts Miles opens it up.. I totally hear ya. I will say though when Miles feels he has a veteran QB he will open it up.. not sure if he will do it with a Junior.. It may always take Seniors with him now.

Any ways
