The same thing could be said at some point in time this season about every team in America that isn't undefeated.

We should have blown Troy out, oh wait....

guys, ole miss is a good football team. i hate to say it, but they are
I never said they weren't good. A touchdown better than LSU at home? I can't buy that. Call it delusional or whatever, but I believe this LSU team is better than that IMHO.

Everybody keeps bringing up the Troy game, but to me it only shows the ABILITY of the Tigers. If you spot any team a 27 point lead late in the 3rd, and come back to win, your team obviously has depth and talent. I don't care what team your playing. Do any of you think that Troy would come back to BR and lead by 27 points if they played again??? Hell no. The Tigers came out flat against inferior competition and finally woke up late in the 3rd. LSU will NOT come out flat against the Rebels. That being said, The Rebs are a quality football team that will make it interesting for the 1st half, but in the end LSU will win by 14 points.
The only thing that even keeps the Rebels in the game is the offense's horrible tackling.

I've believed that all season, but I keep getting disappointed.
People keep talking about every game as the game that JL will wake up, and that the last one was a confidence booster (this is the eleventh game of the season). Every game, he still comes out flat, defenses know it, and we're stuck trying to make plays. The Tigers have had to play from behind in nearly every game. JL and defense are both downright bipolar.
Ole Miss will definitely be ahead at halftime, and we'll see which Tiger team shows up in the 2nd half. Oh...and talent means squat if the guys aren't in the right positions --signed Troy offense.

i believe this team is better too..despite my negative attitude...at this point it starts to be less about ability and more about perception...i believe that this team is seeing itself as sub par and they are performing that way too...

First of all Ole Miss needs to figure out how to hold on to the football if they want to come into tiger stadium and beat us. They have had turnovers cost them close games all year. Second of all our defense matches up much better against a more traditional offense like Ole Miss runs, they aren't going to come out and throw it 72 times. Third, even though Houston Nutt may have his "wild rebel" or whatever, he doesn't have anyone running it that is near the level of DM or FJ (yes McCluster is a good player, but he is no DM).

I think that's what was said about Troy.

We COULD blow Ole Miss out, but Nutt always gives Elmer Fudd a hard time.

We are going to light up Ole Miss like a pinball machine. The only defense worse than theirs is Arkansas.

money is going on Rebels!

JL will have to concentrate on throwing the ball to only LSU receivers, not the guys in the other jerseys. If JL throws more than six interceptions I think we lose.
If he throws 3 we lose. Six and we get run out the stadium.

How likely is it that these bozos show up here Monday if Mississippi loses?
Just the migration of the ole miss fans each year. They talk big, get beat, leave their accounts and start new ones next year.

Let's be serious......We couldn't BLOW OUT the Helen Keller Institute. Should be a good close game.

they don't have over 6 players that would start for LSU
Neither does Troy or S.Car. Hell, I'm not sure if Bama does. I'd take Bama's QB, LBs, Julio, the nose, and the OT. Ok, maybe 7.
