We also have the #1 scoring offense ant the #40 scoring defense

but pretty much every Scoring Defense ranking includes defensive TDS. (this includes, ESPN, Teamranking.com, cfbstats.com, the NCAA's website and). We average 18.8 points a game just on defense, which would bump us all the way to 22.

of course it is hard to determine if we would be 22 without looking at every other teams stats to take out defensive TDs.

Long story short, we would have a top 25 scoring defense and scoring offense if we don't give Vandy 14.

Bakc when we had a top 10 defense we would have taken a top 35 offense if it was consistent.

The defense is better than the offense is making them look. After the first drive in the second half Saturday, the Tigers clamped down on Florida hard. I like what I am seeing.

Brooks and Shelvin need to play as much as we can get them on the field.

That’s ridiculous but it doesn’t mean the defense isn’t underperforming their talent level. They have room to improve.
