No, we need to focus on Oregon.

I think Rivers will be good, just needs to develop.

This is a perfect example of how the law is not always fair. We have the waste of a human being in Lowery that starts the entire incident and really has nothing to lose and then you have people like Jefferson, who has never been in trouble and has a lot to lose, that allegedly overreacts to the situation and now will be the only one who faces consequences.
You're a lawyer. Do you not agree that the defense has to offer some counter-narrative? Even if everything else indicates that Lowery is 'at fault' -- what's the alternate explanation for the video, and the potential person that kicked lowery in the face? I don't think it's enough to say that the other guy started it (which doesn't get rid of probably cause to say JJ was involved) without offering some potential other explanation for who kicked the guy.
People relate this to Casey Anthony (which is funny b/c it is assumed that she was actually guilty) but one thing I haven't heard is a plausible alternate explanation.

Just for the record Jarrett Lee was bashed on here worst than any QB ever.

Absolutely not. This isn't a civil case. The burden is completely on the State.

No, it's not.
That was point. This loser, in reality, is super culpable for the incident, but faces no consequences.

Eric B how can that be Lowery on the video, the person being kicked has on a white shirt, Lowery's picture clearly shows him in a plaid shirt. Maybe the truth is Lowery was fighting one of the other victims and once he cooled down he switched shirts with him prior to returning to the scene. Lowery and Longs story is not the same as the witnesses the police officer forget to get names from said. They said there was only one victim.

We don't need the truth and probably never will have it.

If he didn't do it, who did. You camt see alot on the video, but one thing that is unmistakeable is that a guy on the ground got kicked by someone. There were a lot of football and others around and yet not a single person stood up and said JJ didn't do it. If JJ didn't do it, he wouldn't have been implicated.

I wasn't there, but if i had to speculate -- from seeing tons of bar fights -- i'd say he went to the bar with the plaid shirt and an undershirt -- plaid shirt came off during fight. Thus, the reasonable solution after getting your arse kicked is to take off your bloody shirt and put your other shirt -- that you took off prior to the fight -- back on.

What makes you think you deserve the truth?
Do people go to jail for bar fights?
No. It's a silly law. People should be able to snap the vertebrates in people's backs, break each others' jaws end spill blood all over the walls, but only in clubs. No one should ever go to jail for any battery, provided it was in a bar.
