We are basically running the same offense as we did with Jayden

But Nuss isn’t a runner-makes no sense

Makes wanting to see just what MVB looks like in there.

He just fits the system better.

Exactly what Hannagriff and Dickson said last night on the post-game radio show. You have to tailor your scheme to fit your personnel.

Doesn't run, makes bad decisions, doesn't have a deep ball, doesn't make something out of nothing. He is a one hit wonder its throw it and with this offensive line and play calling and this is why were are like 95th in the nation on offense.

I do chuckle everytime they run the option thing... like nobody ever thinks Nuss is going to hold it and you see it happen in real time when the DE crashes down to the RB. The 1 time he did hold the ball I remember him running for like a 12 yard gain and a 1st down when he tripped over himself.

I just don't understand the scheme or what we are trying to do and I honestly don't think the coaches or the entire offense does either, clearly.

DC's know this now and we legit might get shutout a couple of games if this doesn't get resolved immediately.

This.

After 5 games, no one can identify what LSU is trying to establish offensively. You can identify what most teams are doing schematically to set up the next play or lean on defensive weakness.

Watching LSU is like watching my son play Madden when he was 10. Just running random plays.

It’s like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Definition of insanity plus Nuss is definitely playing hurt. That falls straight on CBK for not playing van buren and hiring a coach as offensive coordinator that is a qb coach. Recipe for disaster.

when you are always in the gun AND cannot pass efficiently nobody is gonna respect the run. to run from the gun you have to have a good pass game.

same as if you are under center if you cannot run some they will not respect the pass from that formation. to kill them with PA passes you have to be able to run from under center.

it is not rocket science.

us always in the gun is pure dumbassery from CBK and sloan.

Well said. We have no identity as an offense. It's a hodge-podge of plays that are not cohesive in any way. That's what you get from an OC who doesn't know what he's doing.
