The catastrophe is always present in the Rant.
If Nielsen's old contract had a provision against his going into a college situation, he should have know about it and informed Orgeron early in the process.
If he didn't know he is plain stupid for not knowing.
If on the other hand he did know and deliberately misled L S U that would be another matter, which is starting to look like what happened. It is looking more and more like he mis-represented himself in order to leverage a bigger contract out of the Saints.

Name another program that has been through as many coordinators as lsu has since 2017? Its gonna be hard to keep attracting coordinators when they know that all blame on that side of the ball will be placed on them. I'd venture to guess that up and coming coaches don't want to have to cover up for the lack of x and O of the head coach.
