Agree, the whole staff was very good. But we need the caliber of Bednar, Sims, Leiter and Rocker to win in Omaha. And nobody on our staff was anywhere near that caliber.

We have some young arms that need serious development. They are nothing but potentially outstanding at this point. Dunn did nothing to develop any young arm that I have seen in years.

He has an average arm with great location. He is a fantastic 3rd starter and would be an okay 2

Hilliard was poor as a reliever but very good as a starter.

Thats because PM always set him up for failure. It seems that he was always called on when the bases were loaded and no outs. It wasn't until he needed him to start is when things changed.
