Wasn't able to watch the game in real time, but watched the replay! It is really clear...

that the Perkins interception really changed the game!
Had that not happened and Mizzou scored, not sure the comeback would have happened. But, now viewing the game AFTER the fact and not having watched it in real time and knowing the outcome, it was clear that was when the game changed.
They always say the game is decided on a play or two. So, not sure at the time, how many thought that was the play that changed the game, but IMHO, Perkins may have changed the outcome of the season with that play! LSU played much better and more focused from that point in time.
I think an analogy dates back to the 3rd and 17 against
Texas with Joe at the helm!
Perhaps (hopefully) in December we'll look back on this season and state that play was a turning point in the season. But, that's how I see this for now..we'll see

Somebody asked BK about it after the game in the PC and he said that was a pass coverage they had not run before. Perk was in a trail coverage. He also said that HP is a Sam and Nickel player and that is his position now.

For as hard as it’s been this year, that showed he could do more than just rush the passer.
