As long as any punishment is short in duration and WW's position remains secure at LSU, I do not care about a NOA. I just want LSU to NOT fire WW unless he gets a show clause.

Agreed.

Wade is the first basketball coach I have been excited about at LSU since I was a kid with Brown. I liked Brady at times, but was definitely more of an inconsistent feeling with him.

I have always been of the belief that based on just the tapes, the NCAA doesn't have much of a case other than to make an allegation of impermissible offer to a recruit; but even that is a stretch since he never gives any details of the offer.

Is it possible that through investigation they found a paper/money trail or got someone to talk - sure it is. But if they didn't, then I don't see how they can really make any severe allegations.

Now, I do think it is possible that they pull a Tarkanian on LSU and through the investigation find something else like going over practice limits or time limits for a week, some minor academic things, etc., etc. People have always said that if the NCAA starts looking at you hard enough, then they will find something; b/c there is always something there, even if just minor infractions.

I told the NCAA that Wade took a dump in the women’s bathroom by accident. That might get our scholarship numbers cut by six over four years.
