Not only that, I would bet Wade has had a better initial 3.5 year run than 75%+ of coaches EVER at a power 5 school. It's better than the immortal Coach K, for instance.
What casual basketball fans don't understand (and this board is FULL of those), is that the game is very streaky. The better team wins probably 2/3 of the time. In football, the better team wins probably 90%+ of the time.
If we followed other SEC teams like we followed LSU, the same problems are there also. This board would want to EXECUTE Bruce Pearl or Rick Barnes right now if we where an Auburn or Tennessee board.
This isn't his best coaching job or roster (for several reasons), but we are in great hands with Wade at the helm. When we beat Vandy and Mizzou this week, the same complainers will be back to blowing Wade again. It's amazing to watch.
