re: Very simple, it’s a talent issue. Our guards are to small.

Ward is the answer to your issue and he should be getting more PT. he did last night and hit the only 3 pointers in the game. he is long and lanky. Plays good D also.

I think that was a very good sign, he was easily our highest ranked recruit but had barely played and with reason, when he's played before last night he looked lost and hesitant.

He looked much more aggressive last night and IMHO earned more PT.

I also think as I've repeated many times - I like CMM and I'm all in - he's my coach. But he's leaving some chicken on the bone in my view with some of the rotations, who he's playing, when and how much.

I think if he can get that tweaked we can be better - there are some teams in the SEC where he can tweak all we want and it won't matter.

But there are others, and honestly I think more than not that we can compete with having the roster we have if managed more efficiently. Including the last two teams we've played.

Hannibal needs to get back to going up strong and drawing the foul when he drives to the goal. Ever since late in the Kentucky game he has tried to pass any time he drives to the goal and it’s not working.

2 issues. Can’t shoot. Can’t rebound.

Yea and every 6’ QB is great because Drew Brees was great.

I’m not sure if you’ve ever watched basketball but being taller is definitely an advantage.

I think you missed the point. He was saying that players are struggling because they lack talent not just because they are short.

Short guards can be successful...If they also have talent.

Would being taller help make up for a little less talent? Sure it would. But the fact remains that we have short guards that aren't talented enough to make up for it.
