Also hard to believe that Texas Tech isn’t penalized by losing to under 500 West Virginia and we are penalized for losing to a tournament team
ETA: same above applies to Purdue losing to Minnesota. And the ultimate trump card is us undefeated in conference road games. Not sure anyone can say that.

I would be fine with matching up against Virginia as the one. Have they ever gotten past the sweet 16? All of the other 1s would be a harder challenge, we’ll except maybe Tennessee

I don’t know much about this year’s version of UVA but if they’re anything like their previous teams it’s a terrible matchup for LSU. They traditionally want to slow the game to a snail’s pace and always play outstanding defense. Like a better Florida
