Where are you getting these numbers? D1baseball.com has the conference stats and some of what you have is wrong.

You call out Travinski for not having a BB in conference play but he’s walked 6 times plus one HBP. You also gave him an extra hit somewhere.

Larson is .345 BA in conf play.

His number may be wrong. I’m only seeing 140 K’s in conference play but your point stands (and I haven’t had enough coffee to be certain). It’s still too much. Jones is averaging about 1.5 Ks per game. That would be easier to accept if he was hitting .300

I’d put kuckarek at 2nd, Larson is an everyday starter now. Kling and Pearson to the bench

Larson def needs to be an everyday starter. But Kling has actually been hitting the last two weekends (.273 BA against Vandy and Tenn). Bingham, Larson, and Kling make a good OF.

Strikeouts are a total momentum killer and the team seems to be really good at striking out…especially in big situations lol. Jones and Travinski having a combined 42 strikeouts tells the whole story, considering they’re usually our 3 and 4 hitter. Team is just not good this year so far and the fans need to accept it for what it is. Must snag big pieces in the portal next year. Jones can’t be our 3 or 4 hole hitter next season plain and simple.
