Well, she pointed out LSU's question marks, but she didn't say anything about UNC's potential weaknesses. I guess that don't have any.

Woman or not, she's no different than any of the other pundits or any of us. All she has to go on is last year and it's her opinion.

LSU's o will have a much different look this year with so many changes in players and coaches. People seem to overlook one of the biggest reasons for the lousy o last year-the receivers looked like shite! Running lazy and sloppy routes, half-assed blocking, dropped balls all helped to kill drives. Gonzo and Ensminger will change that.

New backs, new oline and new coaches make a world of difference.

UNC will be a solid team this year
That's what they said about Clemson last year and many teams each year before that. They always find a team to pump up every year and UNC is that team. OVERRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't argue with anything she said about us though. I just hope that our lineman and Qb will prove everyone wrong I'm just scared that they won't again

I agree with the changes made this off-season LSU should steam roll

What's truly amazing about her analysis is that both teams have identical weaknesses:

1) starting QB isn't anything to write home about, and I'd even give LSU the edge. T J Yates is beyond awful.

2) offensive line is a weak link. The good news for LSU is our offensive line hasn't been hit with injuries, and as long as we don't have any major ones in practice leading up to the game, then LSU's offensive line is better than UNC's. UNC had at least two, if not three, OL starters out of its spring game because of injuries, and they were bad to begin with.

3) Running game isn't that strong. Of course, a lot of this goes back to the O-line, but LSU's talent at RB is greater than UNC's talent at RB.

I think this game comes down to the tackles for both teams. Whichever set of tackles can keep the DEs from wreaking havoc in the backfield will win this game.

BTW, after watching the UNC spring game, I am convinced that if our QB has time to throw, there will be WIDE OPEN receivers running all over the field. UNC receivers were open all day long in their spring game, and I believe LSU has more talented WRs than UNC.

Unless there is drastic improvement in qb play lsu will not steam roll UNC. I doesn't how many weapons we have because at this point we don't have anyone to get them the ball consistently. Also despite the coaching upgrades we still have Crowton running the show on offense. Our only hope is that his role has been reduced and Miles/Gonzales are taking a more active role in schemes/playcalling.

Her third point is very valid. We are going to try to run the ball down UNC's throat, but that is their strength on defense. We better have some play action figured in, because our young O-line will not be able to steamroll UNC's D-line.

I do however think our special teams and defense will be good enough to beat UNC, but not the blowout some of ya'll are predicting.

her summary - LSU loses because:
1) JJ will struggle against UNC pressure
2) OL will be outmatched by UNC DL
3) RBs will be ineffective

My rebuttal points:
1) Better Food
2) Hotter Women
3) Faster Players
4) Better Fans... Maybe

just like barnhart and schlabach. "florida loses alot on defense. now, waiting in the wings, is even more physical talent and athleticism. they wont have the leadership, so florida's defense wont be as formidable. alabama loses alot on defense, however, they have more talented and more physical youth waiting in the wings. alabama wont miss a beat on defense." wtf? espn has a hard on for saban. its all about what the pundits want to believe, and lets face it, bama is the notre dame of the south. the pundits want them to be good and highly touted cuz "it makes cfb more interesting when bama is good"

It would have been more believable if she could name more than one player for each team. lsu has to much speed and talent to be contained for 4 quarters to a defense with very little depth. our defense will be more aggressive in chavis 2nd season and our special teams are far superior. lsu is bigger, better, and faster at every position and will outtalent(not outcouch) unc

I stopped at the point where these words were uttered:

"My colleague Chris Low is out...."

Sweet, so you're the fill-in? Nice.

Should've got a leprechaun to do the analysis instead. While I don't disagree with her points, apparently UNC has an amazing offense.
