no one claims BR has none. every city is full of them. Lafayette's % is just through the roof.

I think we have to be honest about this...ULL has been competitive in baseball with LSU in the past. LSU hasn't always won the games between the two schools. What I don't understand is why do the fans of both schools treat competitions between them as rivalry games? LSU fans do it, too, so if you're being honest, you have to admit it. Fact is, LSU's athletic programs are far superior to ULL's programs. Why? Money!Commitment! LSU puts its fans' money into its programs. The SEC is the premier athletic conference in the nation. LSU and ULL are not rivals. End of story. So, why don't LSU fans cheer for ULL except in games where LSU is involved? Why shouldn't we pull for another Louisiana team? We can't say it's because ULL are jerks, because there are plenty of LSU fans (many post on this board) who are jerks, too. To even give credence to the idea that ULL's athletic program is competitive with LSU's program is ludicrous. ULL is a mid-major at best, but certainly not on par with UAB or USF or USM, even. They are not our rivals. We should not hate them. We should support them when they aren't playing against our Tigers. We are in the position to take the high road and I think we should take it. Geaux Tigers!
