Uber/Lyft On Gameday From Zachary To Campus

I am heading to campus early on Saturday morning to tailgate. However, my wife (no pics, she’s pregnant) and her friends don’t want to be there at the crack of dawn. Does anyone know how hard it would be for them to get an Uber/Lyft from Zachary to campus around 11 AM or so? I’m trying to eliminate them coming in a separate car so I can have a DD. Any other other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You should probably be ok that early but with a game this big I wouldn't count out at least some degree of surge charges

I thought of that. A ride typically costs $40 from BR to here. What time do they normally increase the rates?

Why not drive close to campus, maybe someplace like Walmart on College or Highland Rd, and Uber from there?

Rates are increased based on demand and number of drivers available. It's one way they get more drivers to log on and pick up people.

Surging shouldn’t effect you that far out and that early
Now idk if you’ll get a lot of cars that will be around Zachary but you can try to pre arrange your Uber but there’s still not guarentee
