ThankGod he's not a true freshman or Les would never play him.
your sarcasm doesn't work, you can't keep a kid like that on the sidelines that is obviously outshining upperclassmen! I just hope the kid grows a couple more inches before he leaves LSU if not, no big deal, he'll still play in the NFL!

They linked a video in SI.com's Hot Clicks the other day, but nobody has really made anything of it.

How does he pronounce his last name... Mah-Tu or Matthew?
I've heard it both ways.

Watch the highlight when he blitzed and tipped the pass. He jumped up on a the Tackle and tip the pass. The tackle grabbed him in the air kept him up turned him and through him down. Classy florida players.

He was blitzing and saw the QB trying to unload quick right behind him so he jumped up and deflected the ball. While he was in the air a UF o-lineman grabbed him and held him up in the air for like 3-4 seconds over his head and then just body slammed him. The O-lineman was called for a personal foul but it was a 3rd down play so we declined the penalty and they punted.

I know he is a true frosh, my point is les has no choice but to play him because of his obvious skills!

that play where he leaps in the air to deflect that UF pass, he hangs in the air a odd amount of time.

kid is a beast.

LSU saw something others didn't. Look at his offer sheet. LSU was his only major offer and he didn't shoot up the rankings until after LSU offered him. He was totally under the radar until the summer before his senior year. Most "can't miss" players are known about their entire junior year at minimum.

you are probably correct, Wilson or one of those guys saw that this kid is a player!

and if you look at him when playin, he doesn't play like the ordinary fresh kid! you know, green? doing shite like tacklin someone from behind and stripping them at the same time is no ordinary(freshman) player!
