Turtle Thomas---Training Aids/Coaching

I've been looking at training aids for catchers and one just popped up for Turtle Thomas's website. Has anyone ever looked at his stuff and used it? What did you think about it? I know he did wonders with Brad Cresse.

Did he really do wonders with Cresse? He was only the coach at LSU for his senior year. While it was his best year he was already a good hitter before he arrived.

Not sure about your question but Turtle exclusively refers to himself in the 3rd person. It is pretty strange

He has actually had clinics with some travel ball teams in the Nola area and I can personally see that Braxton is currently crushing the ball to start the season.

I'm not saying my boy doesn't need help with offense but I'm concentrating on the defensive side of things. I'm letting his hitting coach in travel ball work with his offense. (Too many cooks in the kitchen kinda thing). He really doesn't have a dedicated catching coach and I was looking for some defensive videos/coaching techniques etc.

I had no idea he had those videos, but I think they'd be really good.

My dad bought a whole library of Turtle Thomas VHS tapes for me about 20 years ago. I have Turtle to thank for helping me achieve the ultimate dream of committing my youth to baseball and becoming the backup 2nd basemen on a state championship team. Buy your son these videos and he too will find meaning and success in life.
