We're starting 1 junior, 3 sophomores and 5 freshman most nights. Of those freshman, Crohan, Boudreaux, Cannizaro are all hitting over .300. Schaffer is having a sophomore slump, but hit over .300 as a freshman last year, so hopefully he can bounce back. The pitching is not young, but we only have 2 seniors, so thhe rest will be back and the freshman class we have coming in next year is all pitchers.

And, we've had great players from out of state (Gautreau, Sutter, Jurries) but we've also had plenty of great in state players (Cannizaro, Aubrey, Manzella).

Katrina wiped out an entire recruiting class (I'm not using it as an excuse), and we're hurt by the new transfer rule, but we lost Schlossnagle after 2001, so that's not a reason we've been down lately, and trust me, losing Kingston was no big loss. Jack Cressand is a much better recruiter, especially on the Northshore.
