Doesn't matter if you lead with the helmet, shoulder, or forearms. It's the area of the body that is targeted that makes it an ejection. He clearly targeted the head/neck region.. and it's a clearly deserved ejection. It doesn't get any clearer than below..

I hear what you are saying but do you want flag football?
No targeting but it's AOK for QBs to get repeated concussions or linemen taking low level head hits 1000 times a game (many say just as damaging).
It is a contact sport.
If the receiver had caught the ball and was not "defenseless" would the hit have been any kinder to his brain? The physics don't change.
