I say Brady has this team very close to what Johnson has them. Taz, Thornton, Temple, and Johnson all come back better; even under Brady. Well maybe not Temple. He's the same under both.
Not sure either way with your statement, but I do know one thing- no way on earth we win a game like last night under Brady- the kids are playing their ASSES off for Johnson, but for Brady that game never makes it to OT.

Lee, if that's your measuring stick, then Brady is better than any basketball coach in Alabama history. Correct?
Since the expansion of the tourney, yes.

I've gone to every home game when Brady was coach and every game under Johnson. Although I did not see the game last night, it sounded very much like when Brady was here. Turnover after turnover, Garret throwing the ball away time after time, missed layup (including one to win the game), stupid fouls, etc.
You are probably right, however; the end would have been possibly different. Under Brady, they may have turned the ball over. Under Trent, they scored the basket. It could have easily gone the other way, though with the way they played last night.
Overall, great win though.

I think it says a lot about you that you don't see a difference in the offensive play between a Brady coached team and this Johnson coached team.

+Many many more examples, but I figure as limited intellect, you'd know those three.
Unlike the above examples, Brady proved he could win with young and inexperienced talent. His misfortune was to lose most of his most talented players to the NBA way to early: Bass left after his sophomore season, which ruined our best chance at a National Championship game.
Brady was good enough to win with talent, but he wasn't cute enough for the man-crush crowd.

Can you give me a link that said the Brady Bashers take credit for hiring coach TJ???

We cannot get the credit but are blamed for turning recruits away???
You are so stupid, son.

Keep your opinions to yourself and stay off this board. I don't like instigators. If you have an honest question, or wish to convey relevant fan information, fine. Otherwise, f/o.
That is a total bullshite response. Posters are not limited to questions and have no responsibility whatsoever to convey information of any kind to you. It is an open forum. One opinion is just as valid as another. If you can't hack that, then you're the one who needs to get off the board.

2x SEC Champ, 2x COY, Final Four. Pearl and Gallespie were supposed to be "IT" last year. Typical. Dont forget to duck, TJ!

Welcome coach Johnson!

Calling it now, Johnson gets half of this in his first YEAR at LSU, with the same team Brady stunk with last year.
Posted on 2/13/09 at 12:17 am to Palm Beach Tiger
That'll make it 3x SEC Champ.

You don't get credit, when your team stinks and another coach comes in and wins the conference with the same team the next year.

So what WAS the cause for our many collapses and many losing seasons? Final 4 just excuses the no-shows in '00 sweet 16, '03, and '05? What about '01, '04 collapse, and '06-07? Do NOT put all the blame on sanctions, Lamont Roland's injury, Jaime Lloreda, and losing Tyrus Thomas.
