Kid is an interesting case. Seems to only not play last year because of a spurned recruiter. Then finally is able to play. Then screws up in the classroom and isn't able to participate in Spring. Obviously can't be counted on but if he's able to get on the field it's going to be bad news for the rest of the SEC.

Also wondering how he fits with coach O who typically like his d lineman on the lighter more athletic side.

Cortez Kennedy was 305 lbs. Russell Maryland was 300 lbs. Shaun Cody was 307 lbs. Warren Sapp was 300 lbs.

Who are these lighter guys you are remembering at the DT?

This is the first time I've read him/This is the most information I've ever read about him (re: why he isn't playing).

His problems have made people assume that he's going to be a stud. The reality is that we have no idea how good he is.

If this kid gets his act together, I'll start to get a little more optimistic about next year....would make the DL damn solid...imho...and they could turn Beck loose!

I hope TV pulls it together. There is a HUGE opportunity for the taking. Here's to staying focused and grabbing that opportunity.
