As tough of a loss as it was, I believe this might have been the best thing to happen to this particular team. This year, with all of its early problems with some player attitudes and egos, getting your teeth kicked in on a nationally televised game at home is hopefully what this team needs to get better. Right now, this team is not good enough to win a national championship.

For the first time all season, they played a team that was just as talented, just as hungry and could stare them down straight in their face like LSU has done to several other teams this year and last year. The difference was USC was a better overall team!

This game highlighted three glaring weaknesses with this team - lack of depth, poor defense down low and selfish play by some players down the stretch, which is a clear sign this team hasn't totally come together as a team.

Too many times late the game, a player would make a great defensive play but then dribble down and take a long shot, instead of waiting for help and working the ball for a better shot. Also, on several trips with the entire team there to help, one player would get the ball and dribble the clock down and get off a bad shot or pass to another player with no time and that player would be forced to take a bad shot.

This team has to learn to trust one another, play for one another and become one. It's clear we have a great coach, lots of great players, but if we don't come together as a TEAM, the rest doesn't really matter.

People acting like this team is underperforming are borderline retarded.

They have lost close games to the #1 and #3 teams. Auburn was a bad loss but they seemed to get better after that one.

The zebras fouling out your star player was huge.

lol...it was by 6 to the #1 team in the country.

You make it seem like we lost by 20 to an unranked team.

Some of y'all are so out of touch with reality...

Makes me feel like you just watched your first game this season just after seeing the preseason hype on YouTube.
