Cardinals sucking it up, but Doucet has caught 4 passes for @60yds and a TD just now on a 5 yard pass.
Quinn Johnson got some first team reps earlier and has been flattening people left and right. Caught a pass even...

I'm glad that Early is finally out there getting some reps. Last I heard he was on the side line from an injury during the spring/offseason??

Good for both of them. Met Early at Sonic Boom and he couldn't have been a nicer guy. Extatic for Quinn. He was a freaking force for us.

Quinn is a beast. And I'm really glad Doucet is having a chance to play

Early dropped what would have been the game winning 2 point conversion.

True, but...
1. He also made 2 tackles on Packers interception returns and ended with 5 receptions for 90 yards.
2. That occurred well after my original post.

Yep.
And USC lost to Stanford.

What is your point on that? I did not bring up LSU's 4-5 record vs bcs teams last season.

If he catches that pass, he secures himself a roster spot. Right now I am unsure if he makes the team.

Probably to elicit the same kind of indignant response you seem to be aiming for every time you post.
Heeeey... It worked!
EDIT:

If this was his 3rd year and not his 2nd, I'd agree with you. Urban and Long both had a fair share of balls ricochet off their hands or just plain yanked out of their possession. So that puts Doucet, the guy in front of him (Urban) and the guy behind him (Long) in about the same boat.
Doucet just started practicing full speed again this week (he played last week after not practicing for 9 days I think). I can't help but think that his timing was still a little off and his shoulder was still bothering him a bit.
Tell you who did look good was TE Byrd... much better than Spock(?) - but that's a topic for the MSB.

That'll be forgotten the next time LSU crushes someone in a bowl game.
Nobody will ever forget Stanford 24 USC 23.
Sorry--but it's true.

LSU played 9 BCS teams last year, eh?
