how many have our talent.

Its not the win/loss column. Its the potential and lack of execution

20 years from now, what are you going to look at? Potential or won/loss record?

and we're ranked higher than both of them.

There's been a lot of people harping on our total offense rankings. I don't think it matters as much as wins and losses.

This is the point he is trying to make. On the brink of a 10 win season yet we should fire our coaches.

stats and W/L record aside, are you happy with the way this team has played this year?

what did our defense rank last year? it wasn't 107 and LM ran them off....

ETA. I don't see many people on here saying that LM should be fired, some may want him to take the Michigan gig if it becomes available, but i haven't seen many that say "fire miles"... i'm not a big LM guy, but i do think it would be stupid to fire him after this year....

Are we supposed to lose to Bama and UF every year and be happy? I think the point of moaning is this - we showed we have the talent to beat UF and definitely 'Bama THIS year. Bad play calling and development of players stopped us from doing just that. Chavis did his job and made the corrections after the first few weeks. Crowton has not. And we have the talent - JJ is good and his stats back it up - and that is with a bad OLine. If you don't see this you are crazy.

I only get so many - well I know I CAN do it boss, but i decided to this and it cost us a few million dollars - before I would get fired. And I don't make very much money. Miles make 4 mil! he should be held accountable when everyone can see we should be better. Get your head out of the sand.

Yes and no. Before the season started, I predicted a 10-2 record with losses coming to the teams that LSU lost to. That's still within reach and I'm happy about that. And no, I'm not happy with the way LSU has played in some of their games, but they played decently against Florida, very well against Auburn, Good against Tulane, and pretty good against Alabama. Was hoping for a better performance against Tech but I also saw that for the trap game that it was and gave a sigh of relief after it was over. Yes, the play could have been better. Not sure if the w/l record would be better.

Another stat that should be looked at. There are more teams ranked lower than us the the polls than there are ranked below us in total offense. Would yall trade a team like tenn offensive output for their record? I wouldnt.

just win baby.

I think some want to win by 30, lead the country in total offense, total defense, punting average and total headsets thrown and broken on the sideline.....

Ok and if he doesnt take the michigan job then they will be saying fire miles. What is the fricking diff they want him gone. Defense in my eyes is more important than offense. From what i have noticed, lately all of the teams in the bcs championship game have all had top 10 def, but not offenses.

A lot of players and coaches would say stats are for losers. The only season i remember blowing everyone out is 03, but guess what? we still lost one game and only scored 7 points against uf. We scored 17 against uga and 17 against ole miss, but won both those games. offense isnt everything.

If you've ever played football or any other sport...then you know to never be satisfied. Always be looking for ways to improve. If your playing in a
game where we score 48 points but lose by 10. you don't wine to the coach and tell him. "but we scored
48 points". same for the record we can't look at it and say " but we won 8 games"....that doesn't matter
we lost 2...and possibly more... because we need to improve on offense! play calling is horrible...worst i've seen at LSU. We got 5 star players all over the damn field!!! So many we don't know who to give the ball too!! But we got a 1 star Fricking play caller!!!... changes need to be made to improve the overall stability of our program. I bet Nebraska was saying the same thing as they started there downward spiral...Now look at em...I love LSU and always will til the day I die even if Miles is the coach...but we need to change something
