Lee had a good shot against bama and la tech to win the job back

And also the offseason with spring summer and fall practice

If lee were ready to be the starter and supplant Jefferson he would have already.

Lee has never had sack issues, Jefferson is the one who has had sack issues

Ummmmm is this going to be your argument? Because Lee would rather throw the ball into triple coverage (please see 2008 Alabama overtime) before he takes a sack. That's not good.

There is one bottomline to all this. What is Lee's overall record and what's JJ's? Also, what is JJ's td to int ratio and JL's?

with no prior experience that season he gets throw in the fire against the number one defense in the nation

then plays LA Tech with no running game because our 1 and 2 backs were out

that doesnt count b/c it was a diff team and diff coach.

JJ in 21 pass attempts couldnt manage half that vs a second team acc defense.
Think about it.

Things outside of Jefferson's control played a major part in whether or not fans think he played well.

There. No ifs.

He had an entire season of starting before getting benched. And dumbass, JJ didn't have a running game all year. Lee had a thousand yard rusher when he was QB.

Then explain JJs pick and intentional grounding vs UNC. That happens when you dont duck & cover. When JJ goes back into his shell, after getting reamed out for the above, expect more sacks

you are basically saying its impossible to overcome the interception bug. Yates did.

Lee proved against Bama and La Tech when faced with a situation like that he'll throw it out of bounds

Since you obviously slept through your beeper going off when JJ's play was being questioned earlier today, I thought this was worth repeating (since it fits you better than anyone):

Thinking that JJ sucks as an SEC QB does not =

quote:
Could you hate black people any more

(my response to the other idiot that had to resort to the race card follows):

"I would love to see Rohan Davey throwing to this crop of wide receivers. It is not a racist issue, so quit trying to make it one.

It appears to me that the JJ defenders resort to the racist card when they have no other way to support his performance. The JJ defense:

(a) he is only 19-oops, he is 20
(b) the OL sucks-not so fast...pretty damn good protection
(c) no running game support-not what the stats say
(d) he is still in his first season starting-gone
(e) look at his % completion rate-maybe the best shot, but 3 yard drag routes and dump passes on 3rd and 8 make this stat pretty useless. How many sustained drives again?

OK, then if you didn't approve of his play, you, you, you....must be a racist!

Please. Leave this poorly played, inappropriate card out of this discussion."

i'll play once:

IF UNC had 2 minutes left before the half after Jefferson's CARELESS INT, UNC would have driven 45 yards for a score.
