On that 88 yard drive the receivers did a majority of the work.

Other than his clutch 26 yard scramble.

Dude, seriously, shut up. He was 18/27 for 212 yards. One INT and no TDs but he did pass for a 2 point conversion. Furthermore, he was the one that called for Scott to run the ball on his second TD.

Maybe at Stephen F. Austin.

It will be interesting to see Garrett's progression though over the next year or two.

(Therefore, saying that he lead us to 2 4th quarter TDs is misleading and false)

But if we would have lost JJ would have got all the props right?

because he didn't actually "lead" us to a TD. he did nothing. Absolutely nothing. He didn't call an audible, he didn't put a player in the right position. He lined up, took the ball and handed it off to Scott.

Les Miles was content to run the ball and attempt a 45+ yard field goal for the game instead of letting Jefferson try to make a play. Les Miles decided to not give Jefferson an opportunity to "lead" us to victory.

Therefore, saying that he lead us to 2 4th quarter TDs is misleading and false.

That’s where Charles took over, but only after sophomore quarterback Jordan Jefferson sort of overruled his offensive coordinator Gary Crowton. A pass was initially called on the play Scott scored on, but Jefferson convinced him during the timeout to give the ball to Scott.

Sure enough, Scott ripped through a huge hole, plowed over Georgia linebacker Marcus Dowtin and sprinted 33 yards for the winning touchdown.

“I said, ‘Let’s give it to Charles,’ and he came through,” said Jefferson, who came through himself on the drive before with several big-time throws.

alot of people wouldve been talking about that pick in the redzone

Obviously, all of our failures are JJ's fault and our successes everyone else making up for him being a shity QB.

Please, do us all a favor and stop posting.

Jefferson needs some work still. I think J. Lee will get strong looks next season as the starter.

Yet I ask again.....WHY? Why should the coaching staff give Lee a serious look next season?

Yes I agree with you JJ needing some work........but he is a sophomore. Name me one sophomore qb that doesnt still need work.

My biggest thing comparing JJ this year to Jlee last year is that from game to game, I have seen improvement in JJ. Some big, some small. But improvements nonetheless. I didnt see that from Jlee last year. Its like he kept making the same mistakes over and over again.

The biggest thing I have with JJ right now is the time he takes to read the field. He needs to knock off a second or two off his read time. He holds the ball too long.

I like his throws, I like his decision making and his ability to make plays with his feet.....but he has to improve in other areas, I agree. But to start looking at JLee now? No way man. Ive seen that movie and it doesnt end well.

Just because he says "give it to Scott" doesn't mean he "led" the drive

After we scored the go head td . Did'nt the d give up a long pass play to set up the T.D.?

No, it just means he helped secure a win against a ranked Georgia team at home.

The defense held Georgia scoreless for 3 quarters. Then in the 3rd quarter the offense didn't get one first down and the Defense got tired. They weren't going to hold Georgia scoreless forever.

+1

JJ has comparable stats to Jacory Harris and better stats than Terrel Pryor, two sophomores who play similarly to JJ.

Pryor and Harris where higher rated recruits and have more playing time than JJ.

I really don't see why certain people feel like they have to crap all over our QB.
